At present, Airbus has four A320 series aircraft assembly facilities in the world, located in Hamburg, Germany, Toulouse, France, Mobile, USA and Tianjin, China. The Airbus Tianjin Final Assembly Line (Asian Final Assembly Line) was put into operation in 2008, and has completed the final assembly of more than 600 A320 series aircraft. Adhering to the sustainable development strategy, Airbus also signed a memorandum of cooperation with China Aviation Fuel Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CAO"), which will strengthen the production, application and general standard formulation of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) between China and Europe. aspects of cooperation. In September 2022, Airbus and CAO signed an agreement to use SAF fuel to support commercial flights and delivery flights in China. As of the end of March 2023, the two parties have cooperated to complete 17 delivery flights and one commercial flight using SAF fuel. This time, Airbus and CAO will join hands again to explore the diversification of SAF fuel sources, increase SAF fuel production, optimize the supply chain of SAF fuel, and strive to increase the proportion of SAF fuel usage to 10% by 2030.
